CUSTOMER STATED: Rinnai was throwing code 79 TECHNICIAN NOTES: upon inspection found Rinnai code 79, this code indicates the moisture sensor senses a leak. Dried up bottom of Rinnai and turned back on, no active leaks were found at this time, believe rain water from the storms blew into the venting for unit and caused sensor to go off.
