Install new 40 electric water heater Install electrical disconnect box Upon arrival hooked water hose up to water heater to drain. Proceeded to cut copper pipe and soldered a pex adapter onto both hot and cold sides. Turned off breaker to heater. After checking to make sure power was off, removed power wire going to heater. Once heater was drained proceeded to remove old heater. Vacuumed all the water and debris out of pan. Set new heater inside of pan. Installed electrical disconnect behind heater and ran wire to disconnect, then added wire to run from disconnect to heater. Piped in heater with pex pipe and poly fittings. Put service sticker on heater with date of installation and model and serial number of heater. Turned water on to heater and allowed to fill up to check for leaks. No leaks were found. Turned power onto heater. Disconnected and removed old toilet in downstairs bathroom. Removed old wax ring from flange. Put together new toilet. Set new toilet with new wax ring.
