Upon arrival customer made me aware that they had a leak coming down through the kitchen ceiling. On investigation we found that the homeowner had replaced the cold side washer box emergency shut off valve and the thread tape area on the half inch PEX male was leaking. These are all new products that he installed but we’re not sealed properly. I gave the customer multiple options and upfront pricing and at this time he would like to attempt on his own to reseal that threaded connection. If there are any issues he will contact us on potentially doing any of the options. I did notice that on the hot side emergency shut off valve for the washing machine did have a slight drip coming from the packing nut as well Nick pleasants Mcleansville,nc
