We were called out today to give options for repairing a drain which has been leaking. The customer stated that there is a water spot on the ceiling above the refrigerator, which is directly below the upstairs hallway bathroom. The customer stated that there was an issue with the drain line in the floor/ceiling, but that had been resolved, but water damage is still manifesting even after the repair. He asked me to look over the sinks’ p traps which had been installed recently. I looked at all 5 p traps in the home, and found that the four upstairs tubular waste kits were the wrong size, and were not able to seal correctly into the piping going in the wall. This issue can be resolved simply by replacing all the tubular waste there under each sink. We offered several options for repair, and included two options with trim upgrades, as the customer asked about getting chrome colored piping instead of white. We are emailing those options for the customer to view.
