Diagnose gas water heater. On arrival to the home the homeowner made me aware that her water heater had stop heating recently. After offering an upfront price for diagnostic, she agreed and I tested it thoroughly. I found that the burner assembly had a defect, and the pilot light was not receiving gas. After speaking with Rheem and controls Inc. they both were completely backlogged on burner assembly‘s. I ordered one from controls Inc. and they will let me know as soon as they receive one. The customer is aware that we don’t have a set date to receive it and she is willing to be patient until we receive it.
