We came out to look for a possible slab leak. In our investigation we went through process of elimination by checking the water meter first. We then checked any surrounding fixtures and found no evidence. We checked the outside faucet near the wet carpet and found nothing. There was a window A/C unit near the wet spots. We went outside to the backside of the unit and saw heavy signs of condensation. The unit had a slight lean going towards the inside of the house which was causing all of the water from condensation to travel into the house and down into the carpet. To resolve the problem we fixed the unit by properly tilting in position to allow any condensation to travel outside.
