Arrived on, 8/18/2023- Mark As per quote recovered charge and removed panels to access txv drier and evaporator. Cut out and brazed in new. Pressure tested and pulled vacuum. Installed all panels and charged system. System running 22/150 134a ok. Unit running properly at this time. Job complete.
Arrived at location on 2/22/23 - Brought recovery machine up to roof as well as recovery tank. Recovered 11.7 lbs of R404A from this unit. Talked to tech support. Unit is meant to have 5lbs give or take, I added 5lbs 6 ounces of R404A. Went down to evaporator found the TXV frozen. I melted it. Set t stat to 34 degrees, compressor kicked on got to temp, kicked off, good to go. This unit is a freezer being used as a cooler. As long as the Tstat is set to 34 they are good.
Arrived at location on 1/26/23 - On site for walking cooler not holding temperature , up on arrival checked in With person in charge found temperature at 55f got security to open telephone room that’s the access door to rooftop, checked my pressure noticed unit was low on refrigerant, proceeded to charge un added 6 Lb of R-404 checked unit for leak no leaks found unit dropped temperature to)39f picture on saved attachment unit fully operating
Arrived at location on 3/24/22 - Examined unit gas hose to unit and flex hose in fryer in bad shape, also tee from main gas manifold loose tighten tee will replace gas hose from manifold to fryer and flex hose and shut off in unit. Informed manager they have the gas to that manifold shut off until parts come in. Would also like other gas hose connection replaced on other fryer also. Returned to location on 4/7/22 - Did replace gas valve flex tubing was good didn’t need new one also replaced thermopile. Turned main gas on to manifold checked for gas leaks none found tested unit ok.
Tested unit. Found cabinet not calling for cooling temp. Rewired probe from a cylinder and unit's base started cooling. Put wiring back. Need new cabinet probe. Customer is claiming warranty. QWP (Expedited Freight) per Rich Kloss. Called US Foods, talked to operator. Left message for Tony to call back when the part is Id'd. Called Stoelting, talked to Molly who could not ID the part. She put me thru to tech service. Left voicemail. 7-17-17 Returned to install thermistor probe. Pulled covers and could not get at probe. Tried to contact Stoelting. Could not get through. Could not reach Mike. Will return. 7-18-17 Returned and called Stoelting. removed covers and installed a new cabinet thermistor. 7-20-17 Tested unit, found evap for motor not spinning. Checked and found it was hitting the stud out of the bottom holding motor. Adjusted fan blade and reassembled. Tested fan motor still not on. Checked and found wire apart inside of cabinet going to motor, never pu
Installed new valve in top oven and returned valve to bottom oven. Installed t-stat in bottom oven. Tested, both units cycled. Tested good. Also installed light bulb in Rational Combi.
Examined unit. 2 top elements burnt out. Customer wants all elements. Will order parts and return. Note: Per Kristen only order top elements (not bottom). 5-8-17 Removed and replaced top 4 elements. Tested, unit working. 7amp each.
Examined unit. Found water pouring out of overflow. Traced problem to drain blocked. Pulled drain down, found drain valve and 2 inch copper drain blocked completely. Cleaned out drain valve and reassembled unit. Ran through clean cycle. Unit has 7in floor drain 1-1/2 deep 1-12 drain. Unit has 3 inch drain over splashing drain when draining. 12-9-16 Examined unit. Found with grease removed from drain, unit draining faster and mixing valve adding more water and floor drain 7in across 2in deep with 1-12 pipe connected to it. Installed 4in by 2in fernco fitting. Ran unit through wash. Unit drained. Tested good. No water coming over drain.
