Prompt service after placing a service call !!

Tech showed up went over the issues we were having. Was able to correct one concern, but needed to order parts for the second issue. Parts were ordered while on site, and they were back in a very timely manner to make the repairs.

Pizza oven issues

The service person that works on my pizza ovens is a true professional! Prior to owning a restaurant I was the service manager of a 100 person service department… And I can tell you this man is a rare find!

Ridiculous price.

Overall we feel your price of replacing a $13.63 thermocouple to be ridiculous. $120/hr. travel time? Know gas and some expenses have gone up but this is very high. We have no service companies that charge us anything near that. Don't understand why your travel time is marked 3/23 when the job was done on the 24th. Then you charge mileage? Travel time should include all costs of getting there. We got charged twice for labor and don't understand that either. $60 for a half-hour labor and then $200 for an hour of labor - for what??? Wasn't here and hour and one-half!! All in all you charged us $364.25 total to replace a $13.63 thermocouple - outrageous!! To say the least we will never use you again and not recommend you to anyone.

Ordering Equipment in Tough Times

We ordered a convection oven which the sales rep helped us pick out after listening to our needs. It was a little frustrating ordering as there was only one person who could help us and they were out of time. Still, though, he got back to me when he could. After ordering, we received realistic time frames and the next stpes for getting the oven installed. The oven arrived when they said it would, they scheduled isntallation immediately, showed up as scheduled, and provided a quality installation. We then had to deal with the rest of the invoice. They attempted to bill our card over the daily limit. When it declined, instead of flipping a lid, they politely contacted me and asked how to best work it out. They took extra time out of their day to bill our card over three days so we didn't have the extra step of contacting our bank to get a daily usage limit increase. What company anymore takes extra steps so a customer doesn't have to? Well the answer is K&D. Thank you to the whole K&D team!

prices are a little high

at one time you only charge once for service call for the same job now you charge for every time you come back so when they come than have to order parts than we get another charge than if that doses work than we get another charge

Arrived at location on 9/1/22 - Found heat deflector burnt out and laying atop burner. Gas valve handle hard to turn and hard to get gas to flow thru valve when turned. Called blodgett for part numbers will quote repair. Spoke with Mark at blodgett. Returned to location on 9/16/22 - Removed stone from oven then removed broken bottom panels. Upon installing new bottom panels found they required some adjustment in order to fit due to support rails out of square. Adjusted panels as necessary. Put stone back in. Changed out main gas ball valve. Started oven ok.

Arrived at location on 9/16/22 - Spoke to manager. She said the Blodgett combi oven did not heat at all today. Removed side panel. Hi limit is open. Reset. No visual marks on boards. Getting 13” wc coming in to oven. Turned on. Getting 3.6” wc going to burner. 24v to the pilot valve. Getting 24v to main valve. Burner came on. Set to steam mode. Heated to steam. Set to Hot Air mode. Heated ok. Set to combi mode. Steam works as well as hot air. Could not get hi limit to trip again. Back in service. Job complete. No one here to sign.

Arrived at location on 9/13/22 - Examine unit found F5 fuse blown extra fuses in oven replaced fuse. Oven turned on activated cook cycle fuse blew called Blodgett spoke Travis went into programming. When activated fan motor fuse blew Travis said inverter bad will order motor inverter and fuses per Travis order parts overnight Q.W.P Returned to location on 9/16/22 - Service motor inverted different called Blodgett took a picture of side of oven with panel off e-mail Blodgett picture replaced F5 fuse oven came on and up to temp customer cook in oven

Arrived at location on 9/16/22 - Removed old unit and switched gas line around and cleaned the table. Installed new unit and checked the gas, it has 6” wc. put all together and cleaned. operation ok.

Arrived at location on 9/15/22 - Spoke with Mike about oven. Did visual inspection. Found meat probe was broken in half. Mike says he has part. Removed side panel and unplugged unit. Emptied the cavity. Removed the meat probe in oven. Inspected part he has and is incorrect. Got correct part from van. Installed new meat probe into combi oven. Reassembled the unit and plugged back in. Powered on and begun tested. Had reset all probe errors in technician menu. Set heat to probe and let heat to 150 degrees inside water in cavity. after fully heated, put thermometer in water in oven and read correctly. Unit back in service and ready for use.

Arrived at location on 9/9/22 - Turned on Lang Clamshell Grill. Can hear and see spark. Had to bleed out air out before pilot would light. Finally lit. Turned on right thermostat and burner lit. Left thermostat stem is broken and cannot turn on left burner. Need new thermostat and knob. Will obtain and return. Returned to location on 9/15/22 - Lang Clamshell left side thermostat knob broken and no flame. I unplugged unit and opened up thermostat access door. Removed old probe and thermostat. Installed new probe into hole and under griddle , then installed housing onto front door. Screwed door back closed and installed new handle and sticker. Turned thermostat on to 350° on left and right side and observed burners light. Observed heat on both left and right sides. Lang clamshell back in service.

Arrived at location on 9/7/22 - Windows Kitchen. Door lock and catch worn out, door sag. Adjusted door. Adjusted lock. Temporary fix. Will order parts. Returned to location on 9/15/22 - Replaced door catch, door lock and lock cover. Adjusted door. Tested ok.

Arrived at location on 9/9/22 - Examine unit found conveyor motor turning drive chain missing customer does not know what happen to drive chain. Returned to location on 9/14/22 - Install chain on a conveyor, upon arrival checked in with manager, proceed to installed chain, turn unit on conveyor turning as it should.

Arrived at location on 9/8/22 - would like fryer replaced. New unit on site. Also have a gas leak. Found gas hose leaking. Replaced gas hose and quick disconnect. Will return to install new fryer when they are closed on Monday. Returned to location on 9/13/22 - Replaced old fryer with a new fryer set the millivolts to 600 checked gas pressure 3.68. I did calibrate temperature and checked operation . Ok ready to use

Arrived at location on 8/31/22 - Examine unit found blower motor not turning check frequency drive board no power out to motor. 120 volts to board green and yellow light lit yellow light means board waiting for signal. Called Cleveland tech support went in to programming blower motor working not working in cook cycle found relay board bad will order part. Returned to location on 9/7/22 - Removed and replaced relay board tested same issue, fan not running called Cleveland tech support back and found door switch bad removed relay board and installed old one customer wanted relay board for spare part will order 2. door switches. Returned to location on 9/12/22 - removed top and slid cover off of unit. Removed bad switch and installed new. Reinstalled cover and top portion. Tested, unit works in all modes and fan spins.

Arrived at location on 8/30/22 - Arrived at location. Located the unit. Tested and pilot goes out once you let off gas valve. Tried to replace thermopile and still have issue. The gas valve is not operating Properly and has no knob on it. Tried every position. Removed the new thermopile for now. Will need a new thermopile installed when gas valve is installed. Will order and return to location. Returned to location on 9/7/22 - Removed old gas valve and installed new valve and thermopile. Turned on gas and lit pilot. Took a while to get pilot to stay lit. Millivolts was low. Pilot flame is not strong. Removed pilot and checked Orifice. Was ok. Reassembled. Pilot lit ok. Turned on to 450. Oven burner came on and heated ok. Back in service.

Arrived at location on 8/24/22 - Checked over unit, found right side not cooling, found solenoid head not opening the valve, have 121V at solenoid, head is not becoming magnetic, switched heads and found valve opens with left head, solenoid head has failed and will need to be replaced. Will order parts and return to install. Returned to location on 9/6/22 - Replaced solenoid head, turned on, found valve now working, neither side is cooling now, found low on charge, added refrigerant and got operating normally, checked over but found no leaks, added nylog to service port caps, customer will monitor unit and let us know if any further service is needed.

Arrived at location on 8/29/22 - Verified that part was correct and began to remove old arm. I noticed that the handle wasn’t pulling out the Treading bushing. The bearings needed gas and a second man was needed. After installing, customer tested unit with product. Unit is working at this time.
