Reliable and timely service

Service Technician did an excellent job performing service on our convection and pizza ovens. He was timely and respectful with staff and adaptable to our schedule to service went not in use.

Prompt service after placing a service call !!

Tech showed up went over the issues we were having. Was able to correct one concern, but needed to order parts for the second issue. Parts were ordered while on site, and they were back in a very timely manner to make the repairs.

Pizza oven issues

The service person that works on my pizza ovens is a true professional! Prior to owning a restaurant I was the service manager of a 100 person service department… And I can tell you this man is a rare find!

Ridiculous price.

Overall we feel your price of replacing a $13.63 thermocouple to be ridiculous. $120/hr. travel time? Know gas and some expenses have gone up but this is very high. We have no service companies that charge us anything near that. Don't understand why your travel time is marked 3/23 when the job was done on the 24th. Then you charge mileage? Travel time should include all costs of getting there. We got charged twice for labor and don't understand that either. $60 for a half-hour labor and then $200 for an hour of labor - for what??? Wasn't here and hour and one-half!! All in all you charged us $364.25 total to replace a $13.63 thermocouple - outrageous!! To say the least we will never use you again and not recommend you to anyone.

Ordering Equipment in Tough Times

We ordered a convection oven which the sales rep helped us pick out after listening to our needs. It was a little frustrating ordering as there was only one person who could help us and they were out of time. Still, though, he got back to me when he could. After ordering, we received realistic time frames and the next stpes for getting the oven installed. The oven arrived when they said it would, they scheduled isntallation immediately, showed up as scheduled, and provided a quality installation. We then had to deal with the rest of the invoice. They attempted to bill our card over the daily limit. When it declined, instead of flipping a lid, they politely contacted me and asked how to best work it out. They took extra time out of their day to bill our card over three days so we didn't have the extra step of contacting our bank to get a daily usage limit increase. What company anymore takes extra steps so a customer doesn't have to? Well the answer is K&D. Thank you to the whole K&D team!

prices are a little high

at one time you only charge once for service call for the same job now you charge for every time you come back so when they come than have to order parts than we get another charge than if that doses work than we get another charge

Great experience

Our technician was knowledgeable, informative and extremely tolerant and helpful. Not to mention determined and Tenacious when we couldn’t find a valve.

Arrived at location on 4/28/23 - Customer stated they had just lit pilot light for griddle. Tested for gas leaks from manifold into each equipment and verified no leaks. Inspected all burner valves and all in good condition. Good ignition on all burners. Pilot for oven was not lit. Lit pilot and have good functions. Did find all range top burners needed cleaned and had debris inside. Customer stated hood had recently been cleaned. Suspect not all pilots relit on completion of hood cleaning. Pilot flames are all good and good ignition to burners. Unit ok for use.

Arrived at location on 5/2/23 - Open up main kitchen found champion dishwasher strainer split and leaking will order part. Filled kettles with water and started kettles up and convection ovens and 6 metro warmers had to replace plug on one warmer plug was over heated Dairy dishwasher started up tested good.

Arrived at location on 4/17/23 - screen would lock up. Found error stored fill failed I did check and found the filter screen fairly clogged .at the ionized water connector I did clean the screen filter and checked operation. I drained unit and I fan a rinse. Unit did complete a rinse ok. Unit is ready to use. Customer to run a full wash cycle and let us know if they need further assistance.

Arrived at location on 5/1/23 - Arrived to find new spring on unit replaced by customer. When oven door would open, the spring tension would shut door. Was able to adjust tension on new spring and set it to customer’s liking. Tested open/shut function of door several times and found it good after adjustment. Explained to customer that the new spring may stretch over time and readjustment may be needed. Okay.

Arrived at location on 4/26/23 - Inspected left oven as customer states door springs are broken found the right spring broken will order two new springs and return to install. Returned to location on 4/28/23 - Arrived and disassemble and removed the bad door spring from the left oven. Installed 2 new door springs and adjusted the door to close fully and open property. Tested operation and oven fan comes on with door closed and off when door is open. Oven burner on. Unit is back in service.

Arrived at location on 4/28/23 - Checked over unit. Found screws on adjustment for the knob were loose. Secured and calibrated unit. Found all ok at this time.

Arrived at location on 4/25/23 - Found the water leaking from the level probe hose and the delimer cap. I did install new gaskets in the delimer caps and tightened the hose at the probe houseing. I did not see any more leaks. Unit is working ok and is ready to use.

Arrived at location on 4/18/23 - I arrive on site and Alexed show me the unit. I cleaned the burners and replaced the flame sensor. After putting the unit back together and running the unit, it came up to temperature. I checked the flame current. 3.8- good oven temperature within 25 degrees. The unit is in service and job is complete.

Arrived at location on 4/4/23 - Examination of the unit. Found the door handle in the lock position causing the handle not to close properly. The customer does not have a key and a piece of the lock is broken. Put oil in the fryer and let heat fryer hold temp at 360. Will order a new door handle per Trish and call the customer when the part comes in so they could open the door. Returned to location on 4/13/23 - Removed and replaced door latch kit. Unit tested good.

Arrived at location on 3/21/23 - Unit has not been making ice for a little bit now. I removed the old filter and replaced with one they had on hand. I took the unit apart and cleaned and sanitized all removable parts. Cleaned evaporator the best I could with the tight room I had. This is an old unit that shoots water up to the evaporator. Found that there was a ton of mineral build up in the reservoir and inside of the nozzle. Cleaned all of it out, however there are two holes that have large rocks jammed inside that aren’t distributing water to the evap. A push pin could possibly get them out. Once unit was cleaned and sanitized I put it back together and had it go through a few wash cycles. Turned unit on and watched it make two batches of ice. The nozzle that distributes water across the evap isn’t getting enough pressure to shoot water into all the holes of the evaporator. I believe the water inlet valve is clogged. Customer would like water inlet valve ordered and replaced. Retur

Arrived at location on 4/4/23 - Found contactor burned up. Will order and return to perform the replacement. Returned to location on 4/12/23 - Installed contactor and hose. Ran the unit and has 57 amps per leg. Brought up to temp and tested ok.

Arrived at location on 4/10/23 - Came in and removed the old part and installed the new hi-limit and made sure water was filled up and plugged in. Checked and the operation is ok.

Installation of reverse osmosis water filtration system. Replaced the current system on the wall with the new filtration system and tested for proper function.

Manager reports that lately, the breaker for the steam table seems to randomly trip. Checked the wires and electrical components and discovered that the wire nuts at the power cord inlet box were melted and in contact with metal, causing the breaker to trip. Made repairs and installed new porcelain wire nuts. Tested and the unit working well
