This homeowner called in requesting a free roof inspection from the west side of Spartanburg county. We went out and conducted a thorough storm damage inspection on the roof as well as the property. During my inspection I found a significant amount of hail damage. After speaking to the homeowner it was decided that it would be best to file a claim through his insurance company for the damages caused by recent storms. The insurance carrier, State Farm, sent out a third party independent contractor who is also an unlicensed adjuster to preform the inspection. During the inspection it was discovered that the technician from the third party hired was operating in a bad faith manner and not keeping the the insured's best interest in mind. The homeowner has requested a re-inspection from State Farm by a licensed adjuster. We look forward to coming back out to the property to meet with the adjuster.
