Conducted annual service on whole-house filtration system. Replaced all 3 filter cartridges (sediment was VERY clogged). Sanitized housings with hydrogen peroxide solution. Verified proper flow rates. Checked UV bulb - intensity meter showing 82% - still good but should plan for replacement at next service. System performing well overall. Water quality testing indicates excellent results across all parameters. Recalibrated pressure switch on booster pump. Left extra O-rings for emergency use. Everything looking great!
Installed new iron filtration system for well water application. System includes 1.5 cu ft of catalytic media for iron/manganese removal and auto-backwashing valve. Plumbed with bypass for service access. Initial water test showed 4.8ppm iron, post-installation test shows non-detectable levels. Just wrapped up tankless RO installation under kitchen sink! Space was TIGHT but made it work. System provides 400 GPD - plenty for family's needs. All done with the annual maintenance on the Kinetico system in Youngstown! System's been running strong for 5+ years but definitely needed some TLC.
