I completed a diagnostic on a Goodman AC unit. I found the system has a leak. The customer just filled it up last year. I gave the customer options to repair and replace, but they will let us know.
I completed a diagnostic on a Ruud AC unit. I found the contactor pitted. I was unable to look at the furnace due to the crawl space being too small. Can’t get a new furnace down or out. Flex duct is all bad and half of it is not connected. Unable to provide service.
I completed a diagnostic on a Carrier AC unit and a Janitrol furnace. I found the the evaporator coil and filter plugged. I also found the contracted pitted and the dual cap was bad. I washed the unit. The system appears to be low on refrigerant, but the evaporator coil needs to be cleaned first. The condenser fan is also over amping and will most likely fail soon. I advised the customer the systems are at the end of their lives and recommended in placements.

I completed a diagnostic service. I found that the blower wheel has come apart from the motor shaft and completely stripped the end that the shaft goes into. Quoting motor and wheel for this. A/C is located on the roof, advised client I would not be able to check anything on the A/C because there was no access to roof and I was not aware of rooftop unit beforehand.
