Joel is excellent. He knows his business!!! He knows the equipment he services!!!
This is the third year that this expensive unit has frozen up to the point where the fan blades hit the ice that covers the entire inside in the compressor unit and part of the outside. All this with an outside temp of 53 degrees this last time on 1/7/24. The cause has still not been determined or repaired. Nor does it appear there is any interest to find and correct this problem.
The professionalism of the employees speaks volumes for this company. They are responsive and thorough. Joel was extremely knowledgeable and took care of my heating needs.
He covered his shoes when entering our home. This something small but my wife greatly appreciates it. He showed respect for our home. He explained potential future issues and did not pressure us to spend extra money today. Very knowledgeable, he answered all my questions.
Timely, informative, thorough and polite service. Thank you!
AC performance tuneup x1 system. Filter is good. Resecured blower door insulation. Inspect blower, evaporator and ductwork. Check outdoor unit. Refrigerant level good. Wash condenser. System operating at MFG specs at this time. 1 system
AC performance tuneup times one system. Changed out client supplied filter. Inspect blower, evaporator and thermostat. Drains are flowing at this time. Check outdoor unit. Refrigerant level good at this time. Wash condenser coil. I am leaving an estimate for replacement bulb for the UV light.
Cameout for cooling maintenance for two systems. Both systems are low on r22 refrigerant indicating there is potentially a leak. Both system's compressors are pulling high amps indicators of potential compressor failure. With a low charge and high Amp draw I recommend replacement for both systems. Transaction number #9115
Gave Mrs. Vahrenkamp a full diagnosis on her system. It was low on refrigerant due to refrigerant leak. Confirmed switch leak detector and soap bubbles. Will send over estimates, photos and videos of what I came across today. She is going into surgery tomorrow so we are going to leave this as is.
AC performance tuneup times three systems. Inspect blowers, evaporators and ductwork. Changed out one of three filters. Client supplied. Test thermostats for proper operations. Check outdoor units. Refrigerant levels are good at this time. Upstairs had an extremely high amp draw on start up. The indicates that the compressor will fail soon. I am leaving an estimate for a new 4 ton complete for upstairs.
System was completely out of refrigerant upon arrival. System does turn on/off but will not cool at all. Homeowner told me that the neighbor could have released the systems charge. Unable to check the coil for leaks because the previous homeowner spray foamed the entire coil cabinet and plenums. Giving pricing for York basic equipment.
Dispatched to investigate the reason why downstairs was not getting airflow. Upon arrival I spoke with Mark and he informed me that it’s a zone system. It’s a two-story home with one system in it. The downstairs mechanical damper was not replaced on the installation two years ago. It was not responding to power open or spring closed. I am leaving an estimate to replace 1~16” inch zone damper and rewire it to power open and power close.
Performed ac maintenance. No issues cooling with xv18 system from 2015. Checked for any alerts current and past history, no faults. System cooling properly. No dents/chipping on condenser fan guard, no need for replacement.
AC performance tuneup times one system. One year-old system is operating at manufacturer specs at this time. Gary is still using the 1 inch filters for his HVAC system.
AC performance tune-up times one system. System is 14 years old. I am leaving a quote for replacing the complete system. 16 and 18 seer.
AC performance tune up times two systems. Found no problems with systems at this time. Changed out filters client supplied. Washed condenser coils.
Performed ac maintenance on downstairs unit only. It is our install from Dec. 2022. Air filter was still clean. Blower motor drawing proper amps. Delta t was 19 degrees. Return 71 and supply 52. Drain lines are clear. Float switch installed. Outdoor unit is clean, no burned wiring. Capacitor and start assist kit are within specs. Compressor and and condenser fan motor are drawing proper amps.
AC performance tune up times one system. Changed out filter that client supplied. Inspect blower, evaporator and drains. Test thermostat for proper operations. Check outdoor unit. Refrigerant level is good at this time. System is operating at manufacturer specs at this time.
AC performance tune up times one system. Changed out client supplied filter. Inspect blower, evaporator and ductwork. Primary drain is clear at this time. Check outdoor unit. Refrigerant level good at this time. Washed condenser coil. System is cooling at manufacturer specs at this time.
Performed maintenance for 2 year old Trane variable speed system 18 seer. System is operating perfectly with no issues. Replaced air filter and rinsed condenser coil. Homeowner will transfer trane warranty over to new homeowner when he sells the home.
