The name of today is maintenance! Gas furnace safety checkups and heat pump inspections in Spartanburg make for a pretty okay day!
Found a completely stopped up air conditioner coil on a service call in Spartanburg SC. Took about thirty minutes to get this one even close.
The customer wanted a furnace installation quote. There's a lot going on here. The AC coil and AC condenser is way to big for the furnace which means the air flow is incorrect and the system efficiency will be very low during the cooling season. The furnace is actually sitting on the floor which is against code. Unfortunately the customer only wanted a furnace installation, so we had to withdraw ourselves from the process.
Another Furnace Installation quote in Spartanburg SC. This is an installation done by the local Chuck in a Truck special. Unit is sitting on a dirt floor, duct insulation falling off, duct sitting on the ground getting wet. Just an overall horrible job. Sad part is it will cost a bit more to get this one completely ripped out-everything-and installed correctly so it will provide years of comfort to the homeowner. Not keeping my fingers crossed on this one though due to the pricing constraints.
