We tend to regard preventive maintenance on our heating and air systems like we do our vehicles and other motorized equipment. You want good, long, dependable service, then you have them checked regularly. Air Masters has been our choice for our heating and air for years. They've been a dependable partner for years now, and I attribute the life of our systems to their care, particularly our tech. Michael! He's not only our tech, but a friend as well, now......heck, the dogs even like him!

As a disclaimer, let me say, I have been an Air Masters customer for a long time. So, this one's on me. I guess this is the model it seems most service providers work under. Give you a relatively low-ball, intro offer....then, provide the service and present you with a list of hundreds of dollars of "discretionary" work your "whatever" needs, in order to provide reliable service for the near future. Just had a similar experience with a vehicle repair facility. But, that's another story! What the heck you gonna do as a pretty otherwise untrained and ill-educated customer, as far as my AC is concerned!? You trust your service provider is "shooting straight" with you, you suck in a big gulp of air, and reach for your checkbook! In my case, and I take full responsibility for this call, I decided I needed to replace two "capacitors" to ensure the near future performance of my AC unit. Over the years, I have come to trust Air Masters, and my service tech. But, I find a 15 minute repair for two "capacitors"....whatever the heck they are....for north of $450.00.....excessive! I am not happy! But, what the heck do you do? What is your alternative!? The pricing is scandalous! What is the mark-up!? I advise you shop around. Nevertheless, I suspect you will be the victim of an un-natural act regardless of your provider. Good grief! Don't mistake my ratings.....the service was incredible. But, you're gonna wind up paying for it! Convenience? I'd bend over backwards for the customer, too, at these prices.
