Excellent Service and very reasonable prices

Michael was awesome, very professional took the time. got my air conditioner up and running. It’s nice and cool and Michael and his brother kept me informed of the problem and walked me through the whole step as to what they were doing. . I highly recommend Ambient Edge heating, air conditioning and refrigeration. Job well done. Thanks a million guys!

Arrived on site met with tenant, tenant stated home was not cooling, unit is located in outside balcony, diagnosed unit found that it was on a lockout for HP, I found that the screen in the waterline was clogged up, took it apart and cleaned the strainer, reinstalled it opened lines back up and tested unit for proper operation, it was 90 in the home when I walked in, 84 degrees upon departure. *** called home owner to give update of call, no answer I left a voicemail****

I used extension cord to power unit and test. I found the unit has a bad controller. Right when the controller tries to call for cooling it instantly kicks back out of cooling. It just does this over and over again. I bypassed the controller to test the rest of the unit. With the controller bypassed the unit is able to cool. I had 43 degree air coming from supply vent. I will be quoting to replace controller.

Arrived on site and checked in with Jason, he explained the issues they were having, went to the roof to begin inspection on there condenser. Opened the unit and found I was not getting high voltage to the unit, found the disconnect was installed upside down. Installed disconnect and unit came online. Checked capacitors, motor amps, electrical connections and refrigerant charge. Went to the air handler to inspect. Found the refrigerant charge was low. I presented Jason a few options and he decided to just add refrigerant only. I had him sign the estimate and sign the leak notification form, I clearly explaining we do not warranty just adding refrigerant, he understood. Performed all necessary work to add 1 lbs of refrigerant monitoring pressures, superheat, sub cooling and motor amps. Unit is cooling as designed upon departure. I submitted a repair quote sheet for all recommended repairs found during inspection. Ran customer’s card on file, verified approval and checked out with Brend

Upon inspection found mini split for the fire riser room isnt cooling. Possible leak within the system. Perform nitrogen leak test, repair leak if possible, vacuum and recharge to factory spec. Additional quotes may be required if leak is found in non repairable location. 8/8/23 Arrived on site and gained access to the rooftop. Preformed a nitrogen leak test and used bubbles to find any potential leaks within the coils. Did a bubble leak test on whole set line, and found nothing. There could possibly be a very tiny pin sized leak within the coil, but had a challenging time trying to find it. Charged the unit with 2 # of refrigerant. System is currently running and cooling. I did mention to Carlos (maintenance) that if this does occur again, I would highly recommend replacing the mini split with a new one. MOD Katlyn K.

Worked on reach in cooler by front. Upon arrival unit seemed to be off. My controller was completely blank and no power present at controller. I was getting a short to ground. Traced short to main power cord. Disconnected cord from wall and checked. It was no longer shorted to ground. Found breaker 14 labeled at “receptacle” tripped. Tried to reset breaker and it trips immediately. Customer must contact electrician to remedy this issue. Once power is established to unit I could further diagnose. Mod: Steven M

Upon diagnosing RTU 7 found prodigy board to be faulty. Temporarily bypassed board to keep unit cooling. Install new board and test for proper operation. Arrived on site checked in with brinco and mod. Proceeded to RTU 7 for the repairs. Removed and installed new prodigy board, configured the board to the unit. Had to call EMS to finish configuring the communication part of it. RTU is running no issues to report for now. Checked out with all parties.

Upon inspection found system has 24v but is not sending it to the thermostat. Tech found board with burn marks. Replace board and further diagnose. Additional quotes may be required, cannot fully diagnose until unit is operational. **Fuses will call JS henderson, can only get 2 right now as fuses are backordered** Arrived on site and checked in with BRINCO and mod Brittany. Removed both bad fuses from rtu 2 breaker and installed new ones. Went to roof and verified power. Turned on disconnect and jumped unit using test. System started up tech found circuit one compressor had no amps even though the contactor was pulled in. Put hand on compressor and could feel the scroll making small rotation then stopping and trying agian. Tech turned off disconnect and ohmed out compressor found all the windings open. Left compressor wires disconnected and insulated so that system could run on one compressor till new one could be ordered. Will need to quote out a new compressor and to replace unit

Arrived at Customer’s and checked in. Removed, dated and replaced air filters supplied by Holly. The thermostat was set to 75 and the thermostat was reading 74. Went to the unit to begin inspection. Checked motor amps, capacitor and refrigerant charge. Unit is operating as designed with no issues. Checked out.

Upon arrival I found the drain not not pitched enough towards drain. Also Reservoir was located slightly up hill from drain pan. Also found main drain line exiting unit was also going up hill. I re did drain and tested unit. Unit currently cooling and draining

Arrived on site and met with Greg who explained the issues they were having. Proceeded to the roof to begin inspection. Found the condenser and compressor capacitor was completely dead. Also, found the contactor was pitted. Presented an estimate to replace, Greg approved and signed. Performed all necessary work to replace the contactor and capacitors. Checked over the rest of the unit before applying power. Performed operational check and unit came back online and began cooling. Ran customer’s card, verified approval and checked out.

Arrived on site and checked in with customer. Inspected system, found blower running and proceeded outdoors. CFM was seized and failed. With approval, replaced condenser fan motor with universal model. After system came back on, compressor showed high amps and pressures were erratic, cooling split around 15. Strongly recommend looking into replacement as the compressor is likely going to fail at some point in the near future, and cooling effect is suboptimal though present. Customer has agreed to speak to the office and set up an appointment with an comfort consultant tomorrow. System operational at the end of service.

Arrived on site and checked in with customer. Inspected air conditioner and found that the evaporator had become dirty from recent renovations and the compressor was locking out on RLA. Capacitor for compressor was failed. With approval, replaced capacitor and cleaned evaporator coil with water. Restarted system, which began cooling. Observed operation to ensure no immediate failure would occur. System currently cooling and motors amping within range. System operational at the end of service.
