Furnace Service Call: Description: - Carrier 59SC5A furnace. Error code 31. Burners ignite for about 20–30 seconds then shut off and retry. Wind used to trigger it, but it now happens in calm weather too (this could be a coincidental observation). I suspect dirty or weak flame sensor, possibly minor vent-pressure sensitivity.
