Upon arrival and completing the diagnostic, I found that the running capacitor is out of range and condenser fan motor is going out, I completed submission to the home warranty and got approval to replace the motor and capacitor,
Upon arrival, customer mentioned that the condenser makes really loud grinding noise every time it goes on and off, I inspect everything starting from the wires, mechanical part refrigerant charge, and then find any issues the conclusion that the noise is most likely coming from the metal panels. Every time unit kicks in and makes vibration, I gaskets some of the screws to eliminate the noise, Refrigerator and over operation of the system and confirmed that the unit is working at top performance.
The customer is requesting a mini-split installation for his new building home. During our phone conversation, we discussed his needs in detail and agreed on the specific equipment required for his garage space. Following our discussion, we promptly sent him an estimate for the mini-split installation. We plan to check back in with him in 24 hours to discuss any questions or concerns he may have
Completed the warranty, thermostat replacement, as well as final installation, maintenance, cleaned the drain line, checked all the components and make sure the system is operating properly.
upon arrival to the house, Customer mentioned that the thermostat displays one temperature, but it feels a lot warmer inside, I complete the temperature test and found that the thermostat is 6° off from the temperature that’s on my thermometers as well as humidity shown and the thermostat about 10% off from my humidistat, We will have to check the warranty and get in your thermostat and come back to swap it.
Upon arrival, I completed the entire ductwork inspection which is located in the attic upon completing the duct inspection. I found the dryer vent is not hooked up to the outside. Seems like when the roof was done the vent was never installed. I notified the customer to contact the roofers to come back and fix the problem, also upon the customer request, I checked the operation of AC unit and found that the system is low on refrigerant, I got a verbal approval from a customer to add additional 1 pound of a refrigerant to stabilize and normalize the pressure , I had complete that which was a success and pressure got stabilized to the manufacture specs. SH 14 & SC 4.5 outside temperature was 65.
Install care complete, checked all the heating elements. Adjust the fan speed everything is working properly.
The drain line was clogged, and thermostat were disabled, got approved from home warranty to unclog the line and replace the thermostat.
