With customers approval I added proper amount of refrigerant to unit. I cycled and monitored system. Running/cooling as intended at time of departure.
Upon arrival for a diagnostic service call, I found the issues was not the HVAC system but was being caused by the hot water tank. No services provided at this time.
I performed Scheduled Maintenance Tune-Up & Safety Check on Carrier 16 SEER 2 Ton "PERFORMANCE SERIES" Air Conditioning Unit. I completed maintenance checklist. I found alert on thermostat. I replaced batteries in thermostat and cycled system. Delta is a little low. Unit is running at departure.
I completed Installation Inspection On Carrier 96% Two-Stage 80,000 BTU Gas Furnace & Carrier 13 SEER 3 Ton Air Conditioner. I found that the flute was even level. I cut it down to allow more slope. I performed checklist.
I completed diagnostic service call on Trane Air Conditioning Unit. I determined that the humming the customer was hearing was from screws that are loose in the door to the inside unit. Screw holes are warped and not allowing door to be secure. I tightened the best I was able to without further damaging. System is fully operational at time of my departure.

I also found that blower capacitor is failing and will need to be replaced. I cycled and monitored system. System met specifications.

I checked the temperature difference across the coil. Checked voltage and amps. Inspected heat pump. Checked refrigerant charge, voltages and amps. I rinsed the condenser coils with water. Cycled and monitored the system. Operating normally at this time.
