I recently purchased a home and had Carolina Conditions do a full home inspection after living in it for about a month. I had noticed a few weird/concerning things but wasn’t sure what might be a symptom of a big problem and what was an older house quirk. The inspector showed up a little early (after calling ahead to make sure that was okay) and was wonderfully caring and patient! He explained the why behind what he found, shared his opinion when I asked, and didn’t pressure me into anything. He went above and beyond, giving me invaluable homeowner tips like how to put up blinds faster, how to level out a cracking cement pad in the backyard, and taught me how to shut off the water to the house if there was an emergency. He never made me feel silly for not knowing these basic things, and I felt like he really cared about helping. He could teach a master class in customer service! I now feel confident in how to prioritize the repairs/improvements that I want to have done without feeling overwhelmed.
