I was called to a home in the suburbs to repair an Amana AC system. The customer complained that the condensate drain was clogged and water was leaking from the unit. I arrived at the house and inspected the AC unit. I found that the condensate drain was clogged with debris and the float switch was not working properly. I removed the debris from the drain and cleaned the float switch. I also checked the condensate pump and found that it was working properly. I tested the AC unit and found that it was cooling the house effectively. I also provided the customer with tips on how to prevent future clogged drains and how to maintain the AC unit. The customer was very satisfied with the work and thanked me for my help.
