Although he checked the heat pump and deemed everything working correctly, it seems odd that a heat pump would have such a strange screeching noise when going into the defrost cycle.

The two guys who came were so professional and helpful! They sinked my thermostat with my iPhone which was so helpful. They did all the maintenance, changed the filter and put in a surge protector. They always put on the shoe protectors. They even put up with my greyhound. Thank you so much for sending such great guys!!
