Chatham Comfort Controls (CCC) does business a little different from what I have experienced with other contractors. I did not sign any contract and, therefore, had no three (3) day right to cancel. I signed only the the credit slip (B) after the work was completed. Also, I did not receive a "Home Repair: Know Your Consumer Rights" brochure. Although my CCC paperwork specifically names "American Standard" as the brand of furnace, none of my paperwork specifically names the brand of water heater. I was verbally told when asked that "Rheem" is the brand name. Rheem is displayed on the water heater installed, however, I did not receive a fancy brochure or owner's manual for the Rheem water heater; and I do not like that it sits on the concrete floor. I understood the service pro to say that water heaters are made like that these days. I was also under the verbal impression that maintenance would be done to the ductwork but did not get that in writing. CCC did start and finish installations before the time stated during estimation. Their Comfort, No Lemons, Utility Savings, Property Protection, 100% Money Back and Satisfaction Guarantees and BBB rating are impressive. They worked in a professional manner and, so far, all systems work well. Finally, the metal piece cut from the furnace for the return and filter was still on the premises.
