Performed preventative maintenance for a Lennox ac system. Model #14ACX-060-230-14, serial #1916A23233. Upon arrival the thermostat was turned off. I powered down the system and removed the access panel. The evaporator coils are clean and in good condition. I tested the drain pan and drain line with several bottles of water to ensure that there are no leaks or clogs in the system. I replaced the 201 air filter supplied by the homeowner. Checked all electrical connections to ensure that they are secure and in good condition. The blower motor and wheel is clean as well. I re attached the access panels and powered the system back up. I called for ac and observed the system starting normally. The condenser coils are in fair condition. The condenser amp draws are 10.03 for the compressor and .24 for the fan. The temperature split is at a 20° differential. The system is operating properly at this time. No charge homeowner is a CCM.

Came out today for a Rheem furnace that had a stinky smell. Model #RGLS-07EAUER, serial #F171404290. I inspected the system to see if I could find the source of the smell. The return and supply ducts are clean. The filter is cleaned as well. The blower motor and blower wheel are clean as well. The smell seems to be coming from the room that the system is located in. The system is pulling the smell from the room and putting it in the duct work. Collecting for diagnostics only.

The system started without any issues. I took a combustion analysis test and received the following readings. O2 is at 9% and the co levels are 14 ppm. Came out today to inspect a sub pump not operating properly. Upon arrival found the sub pump over filled. Upon inspection I found that the secondary pump had become detached. I also found the main pump not operating. I checked the outlet that the pump is plugged into and I am getting a reading of 120v. The backup battery and charger are both in good condition. Backup battery has a reading of 13.67. There is a mechanical fault in the main pump. I presented the homeowner with several solutions. The homeowner decided to go with the economy option. This system has 1 1/2 inch pvc off the top of the pump and gets reduced down to 1 1/4 pvc. See photos. PA went and picked up the parts needed and met me on site with a new pump. PA and I removed the existing sump pump and installed a new one. Made all the proper wire connections. Tested the system to ensure proper operation. The system is operating properly at this time. Chud club membership will cove the diagnostics for today.
