We have always found the technicians to be knowledgeable and polite. The owner personally came out to perform a warranty repair. They installed our upgrade system and couldn’t be happier.
Have always had a good experience with Comfort Control but STOP trying to sell all these upswell items. It’s almost comical that you always suggest $2,000-$3,000 worth of items that should be installed. Stick to effectively servicing the system.
this is not a technician (Jordan) issue, however I am disappointed to learn the best tech you had (Vu) and the only one I wanted to work on my systems has left CC. I have been a long time CC customer and have recently bought 2 complete HVAC systems from CC. Always liked the personal touch of having someone in the office answer the phone,. A recent call to office was answered by call center agent who knew nothing about my account, didn't understand what I was requesting, asking to capture account and history details which you obviously have on file. Unsatisfied with call agent service (not her fault, she's just following call script) and realizing she understood nothing about my account or what I was requesting, I asked to be transferred to the office. No can do. Had to have them send a message for someone in office to call me, which they did. Subsequent communication was handled via text. CC lost the personal touch with the disjointed, disconnected, unknowledgeable call center service. Again, not a technician or call center agent issue. Just pointing out the management decision to move away from the most basic customer service.... having someone knowledgeable answer the phone!
Brett was outstanding. That was the best, most thorough summer tune up we have ever had from comfort control. Please send Brett out every time.

Customer had called in to schedule their regularly annual maintenance. Performed hvac maintenance on the entire system, checked components for proper operation, everything's in good shape.
Ac service in Alpharetta. Walked Jose through ac system. Explain to him the that the coil doors bowing slightly is a non issue. Verified correct charge and system drain. Showed Jose the leak detector and search process. System operation normal
Ac service in Alpharetta. Discovered furnace breaker turned off by construction workers. Turned back on and system cooling.
Ac service in Alpharetta. Homeowner concern with upstairs furnace making squealing noise. Discovered insulation in blower wheel causing it be be unbalanced which damages motor. System operational at this time but needs to be replaced as the system is 17 years old.
A/c diagnostic in Alpharetta. Indoor unit is in the crawl space. On arrival found indoor unit running but not the condenser. Found Secondary motor controller to be bad last technician replaced it April 14, 2021.
Maintenance Alpharetta. Drain lines clear. Filters clean. Blower wheels are clean. Did a leak search on both evaporator coils. Did not find any leaks. Both indoor capacitors were weak. I changed both capacitors. Outdoor capacitors are within range. Pressures on both units are within range. Both systems cooling at this time.
Customer is concerned with high humidity in home, humidity is sitting at 66%. Found acorn to be blocking drain line and allowing moisture to be recirculated back into the home, removed acorn and system began to drain properly. Cleared drain line. Checked pressures and we are standing at (120/320) with a VSAT of 43, reclaimed 1 lb of refrigerant to bring VSAT down to 39°. Humidity has dropped to 56% since. Need to schedule maintenance for next week.
Systems 40/5 outdoor duel capacitor went bad, replaced and system began operating properly. Checked pressures and subcool while here, pressures and subcool are within range (129/335) with a 10° subcool. Manufacturer calls for 10°+/- 3° on subcool. Brushed debris out of interior of system. Outdoor coil is in fair condition though could use a chemical clean. Compressor is operating under the RLA, fan is operating under the FLA. thermostat is sending voltage to fan when not allowing, customer wants to wait for it to go.

Tune up Alpharetta. Did a leak check on both evaporator coils. Did not find any leaks. Both capacitors in indoor systems are within range. Blower wheels are clean. Filters are clean. Pressures on both systems are within range. Both outdoor capacitors are within range. Customer used his free inspection coupon today so no charge for tune up and no further repairs are needed. Both systems cooling at this time.
A/c diagnostic in Alpharetta. Unit is not cooling. Found leak in the evaporator coil. I was able to even hear it leak when I open the coves. Unit has every low refrigerant.
found bad capacitor on outdoor unit. Replaced under warranty. Found bad fuse, replaced and system is cooling now.
Ac service in Alpharetta. Discovered failed secondary controller and system is leaking refrigerant. System is 21 years old with typical lifespan 10-15 years. Due to age and condition replacement is HIGHLY recommended. Sending over estimates via email and homeowner will call office to discuss financing.
Ac service in Alpharetta. Discovered upstairs system with extremely clogged filter causing system to struggle and at the same time trying to compensate for main level system not working properly. Discovered main level system leaking refrigerant from indoor coil. Due to age, replacement of the ac portion on the system is recommended at minimum. Homeowner has chosen to replace Main level AC AND COIL 16 SEER. Collected deposit of $460. Charged system for temporary cooling. Need to schedule install.
