Good Service

Comfort Control has been servicing my HVAC for over 15 years and have generally done a good job. I love how they provide text alerts notifying you that the technician is in route and who it is. My only complaint is the constant up selling. They just installed a new HVAC system and now I’m being told the duct work needs to have new insulation wrap. I just had new insulation blown in 3 years ago by a different company and now I’m being told I should have more insulation blown in. When they installed my previous system 9 years ago after that it was one thing after another that they said I should have done to fix the things that were not done or done incorrectly. Despite these complaints I stick with them because of their prompt and overall good service.

Concern Resolved

I had a concern with how low to the ground the AC unit was installed. Took a little time but they came out today to raise the unit a few inches and I’m happy that it’s off the ground.

One system heat maintenance in Alpharetta. Arrived on site, checked upstairs unit. Main level was blocked off at the time of visit. Changed filter and cleared barometric ports. Checked ignition systems, electrical connections, amp draw and capacitance. Found system with dirty blower assembly, blower motor starting to leak oil due to stress put on it from the dirt on the assembly as well as a low reading capacitor, gas line not run properly (needs Drip-t). Combustion analysis states that combustion is too oxygenated and should be adjusted. Recommend equipment be replaced as apposed to repair. Unit is operating at this time.
