Good service but a few surprises

Steve did a quick and thorough job and was very knowledgeable we did get a surprise at the end. When we called for the appointment for maintainence we were told it was covered by our maintainence plan but he showed us where we had not renewed the plan in May 2019 even though we had over 8000 dollars in repair/replacements done. we paid $247 to renew today

Pressures are good all electrical components working good no signs of corrosion or rust on terminals. Gave customer new filter. The system does need surge protector and compressor saver to better protect the unit and ensure that the system lasts longer.

Complete 2 system furnace repair and preventative maintenance check. Both system's secondary motor controllers are failing. Recommend replacing controllers and adding compressor savers. Also, need apco ultraviolet systems for air handlers in the crawlspace. Both systems heating at this time. The homeowner does not want to do anything until renovations are done in the spring

Complete 1 system furnace repair and preventative maintenance check. 30 amp breaker was tripping. It doesn't go to the new package unit, could not figure out what 30 amp breaker goes to. The package unit breaker was oversized (70 amp) changed breaker out with a 40 amp breaker and the system is heating at this time.

Complete 1 system furnace repair and preventative maintenance check. found furnace 14 years old with concerning amounts of mold around the system. No form of water safety is installed as well as no surge protection. Heating components are clean and working properly. Filter is clean and will need to be replaced in spring. System needs ducts cleaned and capacitor for motor replaced as it is rusted all over and running weak. System has flex gas pipe going into furnace which is out of code. Needs hard pipe attached to gas valve. System also needs Purex air purifier to adequately kill any bacteria mold or allergens in the house.

The system would benefit from having an EZ trap installed for easier maintenance and cleaning. Also, a surge protector to prevent any electrical components or connections to be damaged. Also, house would benefit from having a pure air system installed to better filtrate the air and keep system and house cleaner longer as well as kill any bacteria allergens or odors in air that could cause harm to residents.

Complete 2 system furnace repair and preventative maintenance check. found both systems heating good. Both blower wheels clean all electrical components well. Systems are missing secondary water safety devices and surge protection. Also, systems would benefit from electrostatic filters to better filtrate air and keep system and house cleaner longer as well as an inhibitor to kill any bacteria allergens and odors to improve the wellness of residents.

Complete 1 system furnace repair and preventative maintenance check. Discovered air handler breaker off. Turned on. System heat at 105 at vents with 57 returns. The customer stated that it shut off when they were using ac. Discovered clogged drain line in which the overflow switch most likely shut the system off then. Cleared drain. System operation normal at this time.

Complete 2 system furnace repair and preventative maintenance check. Found upstairs system 15 years old. Heating good but blower wheel is dirty which is causing stress on the motor and decreasing the air flow in the house. Needs to be pulled and cleaned. Both systems need secondary water safety switch to prevent water from going into system and onto drain pan when drain line clogs. Both systems have standard one in filter which is allowing smaller dust particles to pass through and collect on blower wheels decreasing the air flow. Systems need electro static filter to prevent dust build up and keep systems and house cleaner longer. Systems also have signs of mold growing on and inside system. Need UV inhibitor installed in systems to kill bacteria mold allergens and odors in house that are causing harm to residents.

Complete 2 system furnace repair and preventative maintenance check. Found upstairs system 33 years old. Heating but struggling. It needs to be replaced soon. The downstairs system is low on refrigerant and has concerning amounts of mold in ducts and in system. Recommend replacing the evaporator coil to fix the leak and installing a pure air system to better filtrate the air and kill any bacteria, mold, allergens, and odors in the house to improve the wellness of residents.

System has no hard start kit or surge protection, recommend adding on to reduce load on compressor for prolonged life and to protect system from power surges. System is heating normal at this time.

The basement system needs a start kit installed. Amps on startup are higher than normal. The customer could only do membership renewal.
