Arrived on site. Existing 50 gallon NG atmospheric water heater had been leaking from top. Water had been previously turned off and partially drained. Discussed options for replacement with both Aaron and Gail. They approved the replacement with a Bradford white 50 gallon NG atmospheric water heater. Shut off gas to water heater. Due to a large amount of rust inside the tank, I used 5 gallon bucket to dispose of remaining contents into catch basin located in the street. Existing water heater stand could not be repurposed due to diameter of new water heater. Notable crossover from cold to hot connections was discovered during removal process . Provided and installed a new three-quarter inch water shut off on the Hot side at no additional cost. Replaced water flex, expansion tank, gas flex, strapping, and drip leg. Filled with water. Purged air at laundry sink. Still lots of rust in water. Turned on gas supply, fired heater, and set temperature. Checked for CO and
