Arrived onsite to test customers Backflow Prevention Device. Check valve #1 Held at 2.9 PSID. However when checking Check Valve #2 pressure would almost instantly drop to 0. This indicates that check valve #2 has failed. Checked device to prove readings two more times. Check valve #2 has failed, this means the device has failed. Device will either have to be Removed, Replaced or Rebuilt. Emailed customer options for Rebuild and Replacement. Customer can either do the excavation or have CPI perform the Excavation.
