*Please mail a hardcopy to the customer* Customer called about a leaking water heater. Upon arrival, tank had been isolated and power was shut off. Unit was a 40 gallon electric lowboy that was leaking from the top and had saturated the electrical and the inside of the jacket. Provided pricing to replace with a new 40 gallon electric lowboy, customer accepted. Unit is installed inside the cabinet to the right of the stove. Stove had already been moved. Picked up the water heater from consolidated. Drained the tank, removed. Ran a new pan and T&P drain to the exterior of the building. Installed new water heater supplies. Note: electrical is just shy of the inlet meaning it can’t all be concealed. Advise having an electrician out to solve the issue. Installed new earthquake straps. Filled tank, purged air, tested power and received 240v across. Both thermostats are receiving desired power. Reinstalled cabinet wall. Cleaned work area. Thank you for choosing CPI!
