Customer’s shower valve would not turn off. Shower valve was installed by previous employee and under warranty. Customer had water shut off to the house to turn off the shower. I removed the trim plate and noticed the metal coupling connecting the shower valve handle to the shower valve had slipped off. I reattached the coupling and tightened down the valve trim kit which was loose and not allowing the handle threads to tighten properly onto the valve assembly. I reattached the handle and trim plate. Verified proper handle operation. Turned on water to house. Tested shower valve and handle was working properly. Verified 120 degrees water temperature at shower head. Caulked around trim plate. Cleaned up workspace. Thank you for choosing CPI Plumbing and Heating.
