Customer called about a water leak. Upon arrival, Stephen showed me the leak in the mechanical room. Leaking 90 had already been removed, the line capped. 1/2” copper pipe running to the the right hand side mixing valve. Provided pricing to repair the leak, customer accepted. Isolated system, cut the pipe slowly and drained the water. Removed cap. Attempted to solder, water would not stop running back. Isolated more and more valves until water stopped coming back. Soldered a new 90 with two couplings. Opened all valves slowly, no leaks detected. Mixing valve putting out same temperature as left hand side valve, 138 degrees Fahrenheit. Cleaned work area.
