2nd week of remodel The second week of the remodel we focused on the kitchen, the powder bath and main water supply in the garage. We installed two ice valve boxes for the water supply and the icemakers. We had to install 2 boxes because the refrigerator and freezer are 2 separate units so they require individual access to water. We cut open the wall at the location they units where to be installed at and mounted both ice valve boxes, while the water was off a 1/2” water line was ran to both. The new range/oven was getting a new location, it was moving to where the original kitchen sink was located but now the sink will move to the island. Once they had the cabinets removed we where able to cut into the wall and mount a gas valve box in the wall behind the new gas stove. This wall is center over a structural beam. This beam can not be cut or drilled into so the gas line to the valve box had to ran up through the floor and then into the wall. In the basement we where able to cut into t
