Arrived on site to perform work as proposed. Explained the option to the customer to install the new pressure tank in the same room as the water softener, eliminating any need to go into the crawlspace once the new system is installed. Customer agreed. Turned off power to the well pump, drained system. We are unable to remove the previous tank from the crawlspace. Customer is ok with us leaving it down there as it’s not going to cause any harm now that it’s empty. Moved the softener and brine tank to allow room as necessary. Moved the power box for the pump from the crawlspace into the room with the pressure tank. Installed the new pressure tank with a new tank tee, pressure switch, drain and pressure valve. Ran 1†pex from the tank tee to the existing pex at the softener. Installed a new 1†ball valve before the tank tee and ran pex to the existing copper line that comes from the well. Verified correct pressure in tank (38 psi). Turned pump on, purged air and debris from the t
