Gave estimate and customer moved forward with work. Shut water and gas off to unit. Drained tank. Removed existing water heater flex’s. Removed existing gas flex. Removed existing thermal expansion tank. Removed existing venting. Removed existing earthquake straps. Pulled tank. Cut away existing expansion tank connection. Soldered on new adapters for flex’s. Installed new tank. Installed new expansion tank. Installed new water heater flex’s. Reused existing earthquake straps. Installed new gas flex and drip leg. Reinstalled venting. Filled tank.
