Customer called about a leak underneath their guest bathroom lavatory sink. Upon arrival, found leak to be occurring at the cold water line connection at the faucet. Neither water supply had a shut-off valve. Water piping is qwest going straight to the faucet. This water piping is not approved to be installed within the home. Offered pricing to install a new shut-off and supply line on the cold side but also offered to install two shut-off valves and supply lines on both water lines. Customer agreed to the estimate for two new valves and supplies. Powered off water heater, isolated water supply, drained system. Cut out about 2’ of each qwest water line and installed two new quarter turn ball valves with new supplies and push fittings. Turned water back on, purged air. No leaks detected, ball valves working as intended. Powered up water heater. Cleaned work area. Thank you for choosing CPI!
