Performed work as proposed. Turned off power to the water heater and then turned off incoming water at the meter and drained house down. Cut into main line in crawlspace And drilled hole in crawl space to stub out into the garage to plumb into water softener system. And then stubbed 1 inch pex line back into crawlspace after going through softener system and reconnected to mainline creating a loop to the softener and back to the main. Ran the drain line out and tapped into the nearby downspout. Once the softener was fully installed we then programmed softener to appropriate softening settings. Double checked all our water connections for any water leaks, no leaks at this time. Turned power back on to the water heater. Cleaned up all work areas. Thank you for choosing CPI plumbing and heating. Note: There was a factory defect on the brine tank hose going to the softener, the hose had a pinhole leak which I made the customer aware of. Informed him we will have to get a replacement.
