Performed annual safety and maintenance inspection. Inspected all fixtures and exposed piping in the home. Drained and flushed water heater. Inspected crawlspace, found that the sump pump was not operating. I was able to get the motor to engage but it was not draining any water. Also, the master shower had a much lower temperature than everything else in the home. Provided pricing to replace the sump pump and master cartridge. Customer accepted. Also had a conversation about replacing both shower valves in the home due to age and model. Emailed estimates. Removed existing sump pump and installed a new Liberty 1/3 hp sump. Connected to the existing 1.5” pvc. Powered on, working as intended. Removed moen cartridge. Valve is very corroded due to the hard water. Installed a new moen cartridge, turned water on and tested. No leaks detected, working as intended. Caulked with clear silicone. Thank you for choosing CPI!
