Performed backflow test on 2.5 inch RPBA for premise isolation. Passed test. Will forward test results to local water purveyor.
Replaced 2-1/2 inch RPBA, gate valve, ball valve, grid strainer and pressure regulating valve as per proposal. Pressure tested and purged water line. Some discoloration wil be noticeable until all sediment is flushed from system. Discoloration of water has been reported in this building from time to time. Left bypass on and shut off water to new installation. Customer will inspect on 12/8/20 and decide which water supply they want to use.

Customer had check valve that was starting to fail and a fitting that had come apart on discharge line. Shut power off to pump. Removed discharge and vent line. Drained water out of discharge side. Removed Zoeller pump from basin. Provided and installed new discharge pipe, Night owl pump alarm and 2 inch check valve. Connected vent and discharge lines and tested pump function by cycling 10 times. Mounted alarm control near water heater on north side of room. Cleaned up area. Emailed QuickStart guide for Night owl alarm.
