Customer called in with Luke warm hot water from their water heater. Arrived on site and inspected the issue. The water at the hot taps in the bathroom is at 116 degrees. The customer stated that the hot water runs out when filling the bathtub or when multiple showers are taken. Performed a full diagnostic of the water heater. The water heater has proper Incoming voltage, the elements tested within spec, thermostats are in full contact with the tank wall and are also functioning as designed. The tank is working as designed with no defects present. Turned the thermostats up at the customers request. I explained that the thermostat temperature settings are not exact and do not have exact temperatures written on them. So it’s hard to gauge the exact temperature, and that there is a danger of scalding. The customer understands and will call back if there is any issues. Thank you for choosing CPI Plumbing & Heating!
