Arrived on site due to customer complaint of a failed expansion tank and a couple other issues. Upon arrival I discovered that the temperature and pressure relief valve was stuck in the open position allowing water to trickle through the discharge that leads to the front porch. I also found the expansion tank on the water heater to have failed. Provided Mike options to replace both items. Customer accepted pricing. Began by shutting off water to the hot water heater. Put water heater into “pilot modeâ€. Drained the system through an outside hose bib, drained tank to bottom performing a complimentary flush and drain. Provided and installed a new expansion tank and temperature and pressure relief valve. Set pressure on expansion tank to match homes pressure. Reconnected the required connections and turned water back on to the tank. Bled air as required and reset water heater to “hot†setting. Checked for any leaks near the tank and none were found. Showed Jermey the final results
