Customer had a complaint of a leaky relief valve. Arrived onsite took a look at the issue discovered that the expansion tank had failed and the relief valve had failed also. This was causing the relief valve to constantly pour out water. Provided pricing to make the repairs. Customer approved so I began work. Removed and replaced both the relief valve and expansion tank after isolating and draining down the system. Opened up all valves and filled the system back to working pressure. Bled any air. Fired up the boiler checked that the DHW was working properly, checked all heating zones as well. Boiler was operating as should discovered that the boiler did not have an approved back flow prevention device, also noticed that the gauge on the top of the boiler had frozen in place, the fill valve to the boiler was not filling at the correct speed, provided pricing for these repairs, these are not required to make the repair for today but I would recommend these additional repairs to keep the
