Arrived onsite to customer having pressure issues with water system. Customer has two wells one is called the artesian well which is fed by a 3/4HP pump. A red valve handle in the artesian well pump shuts off water to the “tower”. Water to the tower is untreated. A 1” PVC line from leaves the artesian well and is traveling an unknown location. “Old well” is a 1HP well. Both well pumps feed a large pressure tank in the old well house. Pressure vessel on has two pressure switches. Both pressure switches are 40/60 pressure switches. Upon closer inspection and watching system run, I never saw the artesian well pump run. Looked at breaker panel and saw that the well pump breaker was off. Turned breaker to on position and it stayed on for approximately 3 seconds before tripping. Performed diagnostic on artesian well pump pressure switch and found it to be currently closed, indicating the pump should be running even at a pressure when switch should be satisfied. Replaced Toilet in master bathroom Installed new emergency shutoff valve at wall Replaced pre filter Recommend carbon filter post filter Able to open front hosebibb, if problem persists recommend replacement No warranty on any existing plumbing Will give option for point of use RO for kitchen Will give proposal for mother in law apartment plumbing with sewage pump system
