Arrived onsite. customer had a complaint of no heat and a smell of burnt wires. Noticed a melted wire located on same terminal of strip heat which had prior issues. This may have been caused by a loose connection. Replaced existing section of wire and made new connections as required. Double checked to make sure that the terminal connections were secure and tight. Tested each strip heat for amperage and was getting 23 amps (+ or - 1%) which meet manufacturers standards. Measuring proper voltage at each incoming terminal and also at each terminal to ground connection. Cycled multiple times and Confirmed the operation of the furnace. Air temperature at supply registers was measuring 130 degrees F. at each register. No charge for today’s visit. Warranty related. Thank you for choosing CPI Plumbing and Heating Inc.
