Arrived onsite to customers home to customer having not hot water on a This is an attempt to diagnose an issue with a natural gas water heater. Customer has stated that the pilot light has gone out multiple times in the past. Presented customer with diagnostic pricing for replacements as well as for diagnostic work on a 9 year old tank. Customer accepted diagnostic pricing. Took inlet gas pressure and measured 4.4†W.C. Checked mV signal on thermopile and received 419mV indicating the thermopile was operating properly. Checked for gas leaks and CO leaks while unit was under fire and found none to be present. Unit appears to be drafting properly. Cycled water heater multiple times in an attempt to recreate issue with pilot light not working. Pilot light and main burners were able to light multiple times without any errors. Customer had stated before that they had had issues with water being very hot and causing some people to be burned. Asked customer what they had the
