Luke was extremely professional and very knowledgeable. Worked diligently to complete the job in a timely manner and was very clean and organized.
Service Technician, Kelly, arrived as promised in the text received and performed my annual A/C maintenance inspection. Kelly was professional and courteous as he explained his planned work. I'm very pleased with Dr. Rescue having used their service for a couple of years now and plan to keep using them. I have NO fear of 'false findings" or ramped up unnecessary charges.
The doctor showed up within time frames and had me completed ahead schedule
Kelly looked at the AC Unit resolved the issue quickly and gave me some tips to be proactive spotting possible trouble before the unit gives me any issues in the future.
A/C Technician kept me informed of expected arrival and arrived as promised. He was friendly and informative, taking time to ask if I had any questions or concerns. Dr. Rescue was recommended by an associate and I am grateful. I set up a bi-annual maintenance program with Dr. Rescue in order to assure my heating and A/C units are kept in good working order.
Kelly was fantastic. He explained everything so that I could understand what was going on with my ac unit.
Today was Matt. He was great. Straightforward, friendly, will definitely use you all again.
All good. Super straight shooter, friendly and professional. Glad to know him.
We remove any existing refrigerant, we remove the evaporator coil and supply plenum. We install a new evaporator coil, supply plenum, drain pan and in-line safety switch. We install a new line drier, pulled a vacuum to 500 microns and recharge the system to manufacture specs. We tested operations everything is working properly at this time.
Customer had us out because they had a new sink installed by another contractor and now water will not stop coming from the drain. I got there and found it was the ac condensate line that was tied into that drain and stopped up somewhere. It took a few tries but eventually I was able to clear the stoppage with my small sewer machine. I then poured over a gallon of water down the line to make sure it is not still stopped up, which it is not. The customer then asked me if I could install the drain for that new sink but the issue is the new sink sets lower than the old so if someone were to connect the drains, the new sink would not drain very well if at all. To fix this you need to lower that drain line in the wall but the problem there is the washer machine is tied in right below it so to make it all work right you would need to redo all the drain lines in the wall right there. I left an estimate for this to be done. I found no further issues at this time.
On arrival homeowner was concerned about the thermostat not reaching set temperature. I inspected the condenser and discovered that the refrigerant charge was low. I topped off the refrigerant. The system is working properly at this time.
We installed warranty supplied compressor, recharged the system with R22. We performed non covered cost associated with replacement compressor through the home warranty. We tested operations everything is working properly at this time.
Install a reme halo led on the upstairs system.
We performed a courtesy drain clear on two systems. We tested operations of the upstairs system and downstairs, everything is working properly at this time. Homeowner wanted a Reme halo Led installed on downstairs system and a quote on the upstairs system. We installed a new reme halo led air purification system. We tested to make sure it was working properly.
On arrival we diagnosed the downstairs condenser and discovered that the fan motor and compressor weren’t in operation. On further inspection we found that the capacitor to the condenser had ruptured causing the system to not start. We replaced the capacitor and were able to have the system engage. We offered the homeowner to install hard start kits on both systems, which he agreed to and proceeded to check charge. We found the downstairs system’s refrigerant levels below specs so we topped of the system. The downstairs a/c system is now functioning properly at this time.
Customer had a toilet leaking from the base whenever they flushed it, I got there and confirmed that was the issue. I called the property management company who approved me to pull and reset the toilet. So I did and it solved the issue. I flushed the toilet numerous times after I was done and it is no longer leaking, I cleaned up after myself and I found no further issues at this time.
On arrival home owner wanted a second opinion on coil replacement, I recommended a leak search to make sure the leak was in the upstairs a/c coil. I found the leak with a leak detector, and determined that a new a/c evaporator coil should be installed in the system servicing the upstairs. We will Install new 2 Ton coil, drain pan, new supply plenum and charge system to manufacture specs.
We Installed a Goodman 5-Ton Two speed 18SEER Series Complete system. We install a new media filter cabinet with a new filter for downstairs and upstairs. Comes with a - 10 Year Labor Limited Warranty, 10 Year Manufacture Limited Parts Warranty, 12 Years Limited Compressor Warranty, 10 Year Limited Coil Manufacture Warranty.
Customer had a plumbing stoppage and it was backing up into their bathtub. I called the property management and them how much it would cost for me to clear it and they agreed and paid over the phone so I proceeded. I ran my sewer machine as far as I could go and felt no blockage in the first 50 feet. That’s all the cable I had so I called my coworker who was in the area. He had another 100 feet of cable on his truck so we attached the cable to my machine and ran it all 150 feet. The water level in the clean out did drop about a foot and a half when we pushed through the blockage so we know that is no longer the issue. The water is still in the pipe and won’t go down further so we flushed the toilets a couple dozen times and ran water down the drain for approximately 30 minutes. The level of the water never rose higher which tells me that there definitely isn’t a blockage at this time but there are further issues with the line. I believe the issue is a belly in the line causing th
Customer had a backed up drain line from the ac condensate, I removed the p trap and ran my sewer snake down and was able to clear the clog. I ran hot water down for approximately 5 minutes after and found no sign of a clog.
I discovered the downstairs drain pan is cracked and leaking water into the casing causing system to be a humidifier, so that’s why you have high humidity downstairs. I called in claim to home warranty unfortunately this item is not covered under your policy. ( Customer request quotes on drain pan replacement and upgrading system. )
Customer had 2 ac units that had the condensate lines clogged up, I pulled the p traps and removed the clog, found no other issues at this time. I recommended homeowner to use pan tablets in the condensate lines as a preventative measure.
I evaluated system, adjusted air flow and tested air temperature difference the DT20 at this time, everything is working to manufacture specs.
