I arrived today on a maintenance. The customer doesn’t use the air conditioning because she wasn’t able to get it fixed and when she run the heat, her power bill be around$350 dollar and the reason why is because she’s using heat strips only for heat.
I arrived today on a maintenance tuneup. I checked everything on the system to make sure that everything was cleaned up and working properly. I did find a bad uv bulb, some bacterial growth all in the system. I replaced one of the uv bulbs and added a second uv bulb to the system, I did duct seal to seal up the ductwork and added a ionizer to keep the blower and the equipment from getting impacted.
On arrival for check up I looked over indoor checked all electrical components and boards for any burn marks or damaged wires. I flushed out pvc drain line customer already has a safety switch on air handler. I checked filter and checked coils. On out door unit cleaned condenser checked all electrical components system is operating as should. I recommended customer about FCC and some system enhancements items will think it over with his wife.
Unclogged condensation drain and line.could find the drain line cost. Customer paid with credit card 174.00
I arrived today on a two system maintenance tuneup. I checked everything on both of the systems to make sure that everything was cleaned up and working properly. I did come across that both of the uv bulbs neede to be replaced so I replace both of the bulbs
Arrived to no cool with system off and no power to thermostat. Found drain pan full of water and drain line clogged causing float witch to shut off power. Clean drain line and shop vac pan. System is now running upon departure.
Installation of 3 ton American Standard gas package unit with new thermostat. System running as intended upon departure.
Arrived on this date to diagnose why customer had no ac, found that system was low on Freon but was r22. Customer has window units to put in until he decided what he wants to do with system. It is working but not cooling properly upon my departure
Cleaned evaporator coil, replaced secondary motor controller installed Stage 4 sanitized ductwork checked all components cleaned condenser coils equipment operating upon departure
Checked all electrical on system. Cap is weak but still working so customer will replace when it stops. Cleaned outdoor coil and checked for leaks on indoor coil. Cycled system on and off before departure.
Need to call and price a coil for AH and also quote on full system replacement
Bad txv will call supply house in morning and communicate with customer and estimate and when we can get it taken care of
Arrived on call to perform cooling inspection for $39.00 cycled system and found outdoor fan not running due to a defective motor controller, replaced started system up, checked refrigerant, amps, wiring, temp split and all other components. Compressor rla 17.90=9.67 Fan fla 1.40=1.50 Capacitor 40/5=40/5 (replaced) Outdoor temp 50 Suction psi 100 Liquid psi 200 Supply temp 38 Return temp 64 Customer has a home warranty so replace part for $79 Also let customer know about outdoor fan motor may need to be replaced later on.
