I’ve been a customer of Freedom Heating and Cooling for almost a decade across 2 two homes. I’ve never had a problem with the technicians. My problem is a noticeable decline in value. For the past two years, I’ve found that I could not trust them to provide a fair price for repairs. When their estimate is compared with others in the surrounding area, it is consistently higher and sometimes as much as 50% higher. This past time, I was told a repair was one price, I paid that price, the technician left and then I was called by a supervisor to tell me that they needed to charge me after the fact. The original charge was fair, but the new charge was much higher than it should have been.
Vincent, the tech that came out to service my home was very knowledgeable and thorough.
Cedric is a great service technician. I appreciate Freedom’s ability to send someone like him early enough to meet my schedule.
Done the fall maintenance. Client has had an allergy issue I was able to help with.
Come out to do fall maintenance cleaned and checked indoor cleaned coil and drain and tested heat and found little dirtiness in duct told them the bacteria and virus eliminator would take care of it but they decline atm. So moved to outdoor cleaned and checked it found broke tstat wire told him I need to pull a new one before it pops a fuse and he told me to go ahead and so I pulled the wire and made it neat and wired everything back together and all is operating as it should. Collected $179 by card.
Upon arrival found a failed Reversing valve. Gave estimates to replace system and customer is submitting to home warranty before moving forward
I installed and sold B.e.p, also sold a supply and return pendulum, duct repair will be done on Tuesday 9-11. Customer paid with credit card 4506.00
Come out no heat duel fuel system but gas wasn’t firing due to bad pressure switch it’s 2 stage and .35 on is bad I jumped it out to keep them running until we get part. Collected $39 by card for now he does have pan&L
I arrived to day on a maintenance tuneup. I checked everything on the system to make sure that everything was cleaned up and working properly. I did find that both of the uv bulbs were burned out so I replaced both of them and the customer paid with a credit card.
Arrived on call to look at breaker, replaced 30amp with new 25amp per inspector.

Performed ptu x2 systems work as they should ,customer paid with credit card 78.00
Come out on fall tune up clean and checked indoor all checked out and so did heat so turned in cool and went to outdoor and found weak secondary motor controller and worn out primary motor controller and compressor starting to sound loud so told her she needed hp restoration so installed easy start primary motor controller and also she went with turbo cap so she has 5 yr warranty on capacitor. All is working properly and collected $1149.12
Come out to do maintence on 1 yr old system first checked heat and made sure everything fired up properly and checked filter and was in need of change so installed new 313 filter and collected $133 for it and continued to check coil and duct didn’t find anything major but does need duct sealing in duct losing some air on run out connections and told her about some of air purification items and surge protection and denied at this time. All is operating properly upon departure and collected $133 by check.
Re installation of 2 outdoor units. Leak tested and pulled a vacuum down to 500 microns. Both systems running as intended upon departure.
