Installed new unit
Found unit with a leaking evaporator coil and an improperly installed condenser fan motor and dual capacitor. Suggest replacing system due to age and condition.
Upon arrival found the unit with dirty condenser coils, cleaned condenser coils and checked operation. Found unit with a weak capacitor and low on refrigerant. Replaced capacitor and added 1.5lbs of R-22, system is functioning properly at this time.
SHMM5ZYZG5-2...received a call for no air. Upon arrival, found unit to be 22 years of age with a leaking EVAP coil. Called in report to HomeServe. Coil is not covered. Approval for call out and abortive fee.
Found unit with a severely stopped up filter in the home, removed filter and checked system. System is functioning properly. Thermostat was set to 70 on arrival, between dirty filter and conditions outside of design parameters system could not hold a 70* temperature.
Performed a Gold ESA Summer Maintenance. Checked and cleaned coils. Checked amp draws on motors and compressor. Checked thermostat, temperature split, capacitor and 410A pressures. Unit is operating properly at this time.
