Old Oil furnace, system is located in a closet. found a flue pipe rusted out, tech found no voltage going to the W(heat) call from the thermostat, switched from heat to off multiple times from the mercury style thermostat and system intermittently started up heat. Diagnosed a bad thermostat along with a 2 relays, at the oil furnace. Duct work is missing insulation on some branch lines. Due to the flue pipe being rusted out and potential high repair costs, a field supervisor was requested to provide a solution to the homeowner. AC condenser is 20+ years old. System would need to be off for now due to safety purposes. Lunaverena@icloud.com

Customer reports master bedroom being too cold in the winter time. Also reports house is 68 or 69 degrees when set on 66 on 100 degree days. Tech uploaded pictures of entire duct system. Duct is all intact and no insulation is missing. It is almost fully sheet metal and may be original to older house. Tech found no supply or return air leakage or missing insulation. Bedroom that is too cold is fed from the smaller of the two supply trunks exiting furnace supply side. The smaller branch travels 270 degrees behind and to the side of the furnace. Supply temperatures from the two bedroom vents are 129 and 127 degrees. Bedroom across the hall is 134. Living room is 135. Tech recommends improving attic insulation and focusing insulation on the corner of attic above master bedroom. JACOB AND JUAN REPLACED A GOODMAN SPLIT HEAT PUMP IN THE OFFICE
Found the ceiling destroyed by the HVAC drain. Drain pan is full of water, primary drain was extremely clogged. Existing Safety switch was not installed properly at the drain pan and was acting faulty. Costumer approved pumping out water of the drain, unclogging the primary drain line, replacing an overflow drain pan switch and invested in PSA yearly for 2 visits. Exiting equipment was installed by another individual. Found metal duct branch line slightly open, costumer approved connecting it back in place. Tested the drain line 3 times and aux safety switch as well. Drain pan is free of water and draining properly at this time. Damages to the ceiling was not caused by us. Furnace is different brand than the coil and AC condenser. Harris2061@yahoo.com
Goodman 2.0-Ton Heat Pump w/ Air Handler
Building with the (lost and found box in the front porch). Found an inflated failed turbo capacitor. 2011 system. Hard start kit was installed by someone to help the compressor start up. System needs to operate to fully test out the performance on the system. Due to age and already having to add a hard start kit to the system to help it run a bit longer, system replacement is recommended. Tech spoke with Sammy and wants chris Sasser to give him a quote on system replacement due to the expensive repairs. Costumer approved paying the house call fee with the card on file.
