Found 20 ton condenser not running upon arrival. Cycled power found circuit #2 suction pressures low at 67PSI and continuously fluctuating within -10PSI. Added R410a for diagnostic purposes and found faulty OD TXV is not metering correctly. Built and sent estimate for repairs. Field supervisor will be reaching out with full replacement cost before a decision is made. Darren is person of contact.
Tech found Thermostat wire for condenser to air handler shorted, tech ran new wire, system is now operating properly. No charge per office.Tech assisted replacing thermostat wire from the airhandler to the condenser. (Moses House)
{Moses House} - Tech found failed 3 amp fuse upon arrival. Observed resettable fuse tripping when system calls for electric heat strips. Heat strip contactor measured 10.80 ohms of resistance on low voltage coil, indicating contactor failure. - Replaced contactor with a 40 FLA 2 pole contactor with approval from Sammy. Confirmed proper operation of heat strips and cycled system 3 times to ensure no further challenges. Temperatures reading 61.3 at return, 130.6 at supply registers. System is operating normally at this time.
Tech washed and serviced system tech found no challenges at this time tech recommended extending ESA. customer . Tech did not have a 14x20 and reccomended media filters as an alternative. Customer not interested. Used a regular 20x25x1. Unit is cooling properly with a delta T of 17.
Replaced blower fan control board. Cycled system with no challenges.

Main Supply and return 16 inch flex ducts are Good, tech only found a 5ft foot section of 6 inch supply duct that is recommended to be replaced or at least repair with just insulation tape. What toilets master bathroom Ada toilet because of not tall enough and closet bolt’s will not tight so post-able bad toilet flange Want tub shower fixer in guest bathroom change out Chris will email quote to customer
Emailed proposal to replace unit. Customer is getting multiple quotes.
System re-check. Airhandler was recently removed and installed. Tech attempted to adjust the airhandler by setting it more back more so the door for the wall to go over it but was unsuccessful and not advisable due to the location of the heat trips and for it to have proper airflow to the duct system. Customer was informed and was stated that he was going to build a door for it to make it work.
Retuned to replace dual run capacitor. Installed and tested. Customer paid 9/16. Gave customer hard copy of invoice.
Upon arrival tech began reinstalling air handler in closet, tech had to redo supply duct coming through the floor. Wired line and low voltage, ran new drain line. Pressure tested with nitrogen and pulled vacuum. Performed ESA on system and started system back up. System is back operational at this time.
Found it to be shower drain leaking due to not be seal anymore
Upon arrival tech spoke with homeowner and discussed multiple options as far as moving system vs keeping it located inside the house. Tech spoke with field supervisor to get second quote to relocate air handler under house. Homeowner still wanted air handler removed today so insurance inspector could look at damage in flooring. Tech pumped Freon into condenser, cut lines and taped up and pushed them into crawl space. Pulled air handler out of closet space. Homeowner is waiting for quote from field supervisor and will make decision and call us when he is ready to move forward.
