James is absolutely the best.... A pleasure to talk with, share recommendations, etc. Definitely cares for his customers. In all of the years we've dealt with various HVAC entities, James is, by far, the best. Loving Air is lucky to have him in their employ--and I am lucky to have him as our technician.

James Morris/Loving Air Fantastic HVAC Technician--The Best....

James came out to replace our furnace's heat exchanger--damaged by a failed house gas regulator that admitted too much LP to furnace. This caused the heat exchanger to age prematurely due to accumulation of moisture inside the tubes (moisture is the enemy of heat exchangers). As always, James is the consummate technician--and a pleasure to talk to, as well.

James Morris/Loving Air Fantastic HVAC Technician

Had James Morris over to check furnace valve to ensure it was properly adjusted following replacement of the whole house regulator back in December. As I suspected some minor adjustment was necessary. James showed me exactly how it should be done and what value he likes to see. He made the necessary adjustment and ensured system was working. He monitored it all the way through an entire cycle. Aside from knowing his stuff when it comes to HVAC matters, he is simply an outstanding person to chat with, also. Extremely personable and friendly. Can't say enough good things about him.

During my inspection today, the customer greeted me at the front door. They allowed me to come inside and they showed me around all the equipment. They showed me the air filter. They were 14 x 20 14x24. They then showed me the thermostats. They were Honeywellprogrammable. They then showed me the indoor units and the outdoor units . (Attic) I got started by turning the system off at the thermostat and made my way to the air handler. I inspected multiple different components on the system, including the blower wheel/motor, evaporator coil, drain line (flushed drain line with a gallon of hot water and white vinegar), ductwork, electrical connections/components, etc. I checked all of these components for proper operation and cleanliness. As well as to make sure that nothing was damaged. I made my way to the outdoor unit. On the outdoor unit I inspected multiple different components as well, including electrical connections/components, Condenser fan motor, Compressor, Motor amp draws, R

During today’s visit, I replaced the liquid propane, burners, and orifices. The office number was 56. After installing these, I cleaned out the burner compartment and the fresh air return to ensure proper airflow and cleanliness. Everything after I started, the system up worked perfectly the system satisfied at 71°. I turned the system on and off several times to watch the burners fire off everything like I said, is operating properly at this time. I did not have to use the gas manifold that we ordered from Trane. We will have to ship that back to the sender.

Upon arrival spoke with customer. He explained no issues at this time. We started with upstairs system. Turned stat on and went into attic. Customer is still aware of drain needing a trap with a safety, disconnect to shut main power off and the heat strips in backwards. Customer explained he still plans to do it on his own, I explained we could get it done today but he is not concerned. Unit is level. Duct is all tight. Wires are tight and heat strips are working properly. Drain seems to be clear. Coil showing no signs of leaks at this time. Indoor is working properly. Went outside, coil is clean. Contacter and capacitor checked within range. Fan and compressor amped within specs. Refrigerant levels checked within specs. Disconnect wires are tight, system has no surge protectors but main panel has one so customer is not worried about them at this time. Basement system. Turned stat on. Filter is clean. Went to indoor unit. Coil is clean no leaks. Blower is clean. Wires all tight. St

During my inspection today, I found a few things I wanted to bring to the customers attention. First being that when I tested the system in heat mode, the burners would not light all the way. After doing some investigating, I found that the third orifice for the burner assembly was clogged. I was able to clear it per membership to get it running for the customer. This was caused by age and corrosion. I am giving the customer the option to replace the liquid propane kit and manifold tube in the manifold tube is on back order and Trane has no idea when it might be in. Customer does want to do this repair. The office will have to keep tabs with Trane on when it will come in. I then found on the outdoor unit that the condenser fan motor is going bad the bearings inside or loose and the motor is over amping . Along with the capacitor which had a mouse on it and caused the capacitor to rust really bad. The capacitor must be replaced with the condenser fan because it is a different size for

Upon arrival shut power and gas off to the unit. Took pictures of everything so I can make sure everything is back together for the customer. Pulled old heat exchanger out and put new in place. Made sure everything was tight and no issues. Once all back together tested it and showed customer. I had glued secondary drain line but customer did not want it glued. Pulled it apart so he could clean it at any time so it may leak. Showed customer unit and explained some of the trim parts are dented from having to be raised to get the heat exchanger out. System is working properly and explained the first could times it may smoke and a detector may go off but everything is sealed properly. Customer is happy at this time of service.

Upon arrival spoke with customer and explained what I would be doing today. Started upstairs, we found heat kit is in backwards. No disconnect for attic unit. Return duct is too small. Coil and blower are clean with no leaks. Drain line is clear at this time. Wires all tight. Went downstairs. Indoor unit is clean, no leaks on the coil and all wires are tight. Indoor units are working good. Went outside and cleaned the coils. All wires and contacters and capacitors checked out within specs. Refrigerant levels on both systems are within manufacturing specifications. Disconnects are both tight and no burnt or broken wires. Priced up to put in disconnect and flip heater kit upstairs. Fix return line upstairs and also put surge protectors on outdoor systems. Customer also asked about the heat exchanger and I called and spoke to office, he just needs to approve repairs and we will go ahead and get it on order. Customer stated once he gets on the schedule for the heat exchanger he will let

Upon arrival spoke with customer and we went to basement unit. Turned furnace on and tested gas pressure. Adjusted pressure to 11.5IWC. Let system run awhile and made sure pressures stayed. Wires all tight. Blower is clean and amped within specs. Shut system down and turned it back on and made sure system pressures stayed the same. Found no major issues, customer explained he gave the office the go ahead to do the heat exchanger in the spring when using the heat is done. Customer is happy at this time of service.

Upon arrival spoke with customer. He explained the issues he was having with downstairs system. We went downstairs, coil is clean no leaks. Wires all tight. Turned gas side on and had major blow back. Pulled burners and found them dirty. Checked heat exchanger and it is very rusted but found no leaks yet. Started checking gas pressure and found the pressure incoming to be 34IWC. Explained to customer this was not a good thing. He is goin to have the gas company check the regulator out. Customer approved cleaning the burners, and would like to know if the heat exchanger would be covered under warranty. Could not make a call out to check. Cleaned burners and tested the system. Got pressures back down but once regulator is fixed gas pressures will need to be checked again. Blower is clear, indoor is working well. Upstairs attic, coil is clean no refrigerant leaks. Wires all tight. Drain is clear. Heat strips amp within specs. Blower amped at 1.1amps. All duct is tight. Went outside, down

. Upon arrival found the ac running and the fan for the furnace wasn’t. System is completely frozen over. Checked voltage for blower. I had high voltage but not low voltage. Went it the thermostat and set it to fan on. Fan came on. Explained to the customer it could be the thermostat or board. Told him we will call Trane on Monday and get pricing and availability. Also told him to let the system unfreeze until he uses the ac.
