I found Stan through a Nest thermostat tech support specialist who was looking for a technician to fix my setup so I could have heat again. Stan arrived when he said he would, texting and calling ahead. He seemed very knowledgeable about HVAC systems in general, but specifically knew about smart programmable thermostats like Nest, which is not a skill that all HVAC pros have, not by a long shot.
